You
You
When you push me to the edge of my tolerance,
It hurts me but I stand there strong.
Your silent attacks made my heart shallow
But still you can't prove me wrong.
When you turned the worst eye on me, that pricked like heat strokes
Ahh.. am burnt, my skin is scaly,
Am crying for help but my throat choked.
And one fine day I was touched by a pure soul,
Beautiful heart worth much more than gold.
A burst out of emotions and overnight of tears down poured.
That was a night of realisation, it's my heart, a house of sentiments.
I will now decide which one gets it the longer to rent.
The night of downfall is followed by a bloom of colours and freshness ,
I am up and revived now, cheerful and fearless.
When you strived and thrived, convinced me and all, I was a dead loser.
Carefully I replaced this YOU as I wish to spend the rest of my life a happy bloomer.
Choose wisely, who you want to be surrounded with.
