It's a very interesting phenomenon.

I must agree,

The twists and turns in the prevailing darkness,

What a mystery, isn't it?

To find out whether or not we'd actually be free,

But till then, there's another phenomenon -

Life

The life we have,

Is ours to rule, ours to build and ours to break,

Don't give up, it's the only one you get,

What about all the sights you have yet to see?

Standing atop a snowy mountain,

Or wandering the busy streets of Venice,

Won't it be worth it, then?

Put down the razor,

Let it be.

What about all the childhood role models you have yet to meet?

Gazing at your first celebrity crush,

Or sharing a moment with the author that made you weep,

Won't it be worth it, then?

Step away from the edge,

Let it be.

What about the person you have yet to be?

Whether a boring accountant,

Or the next Bill Gates,

You'll have a loving family,

Waiting for you at home every day,

Won't it be worth it, then?

Untie that noose,

Let it be.

For death may seem magnificent,

Standing tall and dark in all its Glory,

But life is meant to be lived and fought for,

Choose your battles wisely, they say,

Sometimes, they've been chosen for you,

And you must fight to win,

For yourself and all humanity,

So go on then, get to work,

For the seed you sow, 

Shall be the ones you reap.
