“Thank you, I found my home. Hope you will find yours soon.”

She read this note once again, maybe adding another one in thousand.

This note reminded Rima of him, every time.

Sitting alone on the hospital bed, it had been a long fight, thought she, staring out at the sky.

Aah! How much she loved rains and,

of course him.

He made her love rains.

Two years back, they were admitted together,

cancer it was.

They had a thing in common,

the last wish, to find a home.

He passed away last night.

Death was lenient on him,

his only wish, the last one,

to find a home, came true.

He found his home not in a place,

but in her, and so did she,

but fate, realisation struck late with pain.

Pain which shall never subside.

To be content and melancholic at the same time,

is the worst feeling to live with,

wish she could tell it to him that

“She found her home and lost it the same moment”

Miracles take time to happen, she thought.

Wishes, they do come true,

at times possibly with a heartbreak.

And when you are about to give up completely,

they strike you right at the moment,

at times being disguised as humans.
