Justice and Prejudice

Seven years after the murder, trial is yet to begin

Not unusual in the land that speaks of dharma, just chill with tonic and gin.

Wheels of the system slowly spin

Patient waiting take it all in your chin. 

Justice sometimes thaw, in the morning hear the crow caw

Delay makes cases academic

Reason not necessarily pandemic

It is all about pecking order

If you belong to the caste/class lower, it gets even harder

Believe in karma, may be the Gods will render justice.

It may be possible that even Gods may do nothing what with their prejudice.
