Just Love Lives

Fell in love for no reason: 

Flutterbies never stop fluttering;

All senses are heightened;

Not sure whether it’s a hormonal rush,

As it’s not at the prime of youth;

All deceiving signs of karmic connection are flagged red!

Though at the fall of youth, 

No difference was found:

Reasonless smiles and tears pop up now and then;

The madness of passion drives beyond all the odds;

It’s weird to break down rationally:

First, the presence was flaming the fire;

Yet, the fear of proximity pulls away and resits through…

Then, the absence kills slowly;

Now, neither the presence nor the absence makes any difference;

Genuinely, no commitment yet committed to the bond…

It is in the name of friendship;

Yet, flutterbies keep fluttering;

There is no hope in romantic unison,

Yet the joy of love sustains…

There was never ‘us’ once!

But undefined ‘you and I’ thrives…

No worldly rules and needs justify or control;

It feels like a cosmic connection beyond explanation…

Without being socially labeled,

Without being physically connected,

Without being judged by right and wrong, 

Without being bound by time and space,

Without being even loved back,

Why does this love live?
