Just Consider This The Next Time The Chance Presents Itself

Why do people jump to conclusions of the worst kind?

And why when it's brought up do they only see,

What I can only define,

The worse case as the single reality? 

And another thing- if such things are so bad,

Why should any discourage what would help the most?

I find it honestly quite sad,

Because what could be encouraged is instead opposed 

Yes, maybe I preach this excessively,

I'd not be so inclined to do so,

If there weren't those who didn't act so stubbornly,

Especially given the environment in which they grow 

More than anyone else we know better,

Or at least that's what I'd thought,

Praying for aid should be the main way to weather,

At least that's what I thought we were taught.
