It could have been me and you,

And very life itself.

But you choose something else, something other than what we are.

But you need to understand,

Time does not heal everything,

As it knows there is no healing to be done.

I hope you find love beyond measure,

Beyond what you expect,

At least you don't have to settle in and try to accommodate ,

At a level what you have done with me.
