Innocence Of Teenage
Innocence Of Teenage
Beautiful eyes, decorated with kohl and lips with gloss.
She sat with music on but lost in deep thoughts.
Remembering the girl of twelve
Yet to discover her inner self,
So innocent to understand
The world that she possess.
Fun loving girl, who used to make friends with all her heart,
And used to love to keep them
In her soul like a piece of its own texture.
Eyes were wet, thoughts were deep as the ocean beneath,
She was remembering losing faith on friends one by one,
As if taking step into the real-world bit by bit,
Yet with concern.
She was not just losing friends,
But was losing her innocence as well,
Building the walls around her
Never to break them was her thought.
And the day came when she was left with very few,
Which she thought were true.
Always to hold her through up or down,
Night or day but never to let her break.
But then came the day she realized
Even they were the fake one through.
Unknown with the fact
At times expectations harm us as well,
She was high on them letting them hinder,
Her peace and relations she was left with.
And here, sound echoed,
Bringing her back to the present world,
Where she stood with her shadow
To leave her in dark,
With her demons to fight alone.
As the night approached
Her new moon took its position
To hold her through dark,
Not letting her go through
The way all alone.
Now everyone calls her rude
But only her moon knew the Baby girl she is still,
Hidden behind the mask
To protect herself from the demons of the world
Those are ready to kill.
Her moon saw her every single scar
Making her feel beautiful,
Telling her to watch the scar
It carries yet how the world love it.
Teaching her to love those marks
And embracing them
As if a petal of rose or the shooting star.
