India And The "Rights"

Today I saw a man in the town begging for food

But no one on the crowded street was in the mood.

One day I learnt a phrase "Right to equality",

What is it actually? Just a few words of beauty?

Yesterday, I heard about a teen girl attempting suicide

Cause dropping from school, marriage was destined. 

I had learnt another phrase, "educational rights",

What is it? An acute darkness under the false light?

I have a friend from the community tribal

In the village worshipping their deity is illegal.

"Freedom of cultural and religious rights", another phrase,

What is it? Again some fluffy words of grace?

The girl from the next door longs to hang out

But she's said it's not a thing a girl should think about.

You also have known the phrase, "right to freedom"

What is it? Being a subject in someone else's kingdom?

The slum boy cleans their drain every day

In return, he only gets some rice mixed with hay.

"Right against exploitation", a term was coined,

What is it? Childhood dreams to be boiled?

I heard each and every citizen have the right to constitutional remedies,

Then can you tell me why the raped girl still cannot breathe with ease?

 Yes, "The fundamental rights", they are called together

Don't know when India can really apply them with vigour!!!
