In The Midst of Turmoil

As the tears in my eyes kept rolling down

I held my heart closer within me tight;

I felt the pain to be so excruciating

So difficult to go through and put up a fight.

The whole world came crashing

As all the fingers are pointed at me

Accusing of things that I have done or not done

Without giving me an opportunity to let me be. 

Life seems to be so heavier When around me, there are people 

So inconsiderate and insensitive

Who never think twice to judge and to grumble. 

Yet, I am searching for that divine warmth

Even when I am so cold and bitter.

I hope to get revived and refreshed again

To get back my life's original flavour.

I want to smile again freely and happily,

As I don't want to pretend and be an actor anymore

I just wish to see that jovial reflection of mine

When again, I look at myself in the mirror.
