In Praise M.S.DHONI

Whenever Dhoni came to bat,

He added another feather in his hat,

He carried his bat like a scimitar.

Every match for him was like going to war.

Entertaining and playing to the crowd.

Was his forte, he made the country proud.

Now retired after a career full of winnings,

Starts his grand second innings.

Where once again he will shine like a star.

In this phase of life too, he will go far,

For there are ordinary men and those who become great,

Who controls their own destiny their own fate,

These are the ones who are born to lead everyone,

They are the ones who shine like the sun.

In the field, he showed his consistency, his stability.

For he is born with an inborn ability,

Dhoni was a role model always   stood tall,

He gave courage to people to dream, from towns small.

So in his praise this poem I write,  Dhoni a man of inspiration,

A few words on his talent and in his honor,

For words cannot express a country's admiration.

We are proud he is on our side and in our corner.
