Ijazat : Permission

Ijazat : Permission

Allow me to curl into a curve

At the very sight of your silhouette from across the room

Allow me to fold my hands

And beg for mercy till I become short of breath

Allow me to escape the wrath for once

As I spill ink on silence the zillionth time

Allow me to drift my words in your direction

And not intersect them with accusations midway

Allow me a few moments of boldness and bravery

As I tend to shiver in your proximity

Allow me to seek refuge at your feet

As I feel utterly tired of seeking forgiveness

Allow me to cater to all your emotions, one tear at a time

For I am sick of being welcoming bombs and blows

Allow me to feel loved, wanted and craved for,

Cause when I will leave, it will take some time for your fingers to adjust to normalcy,

For I have been holding your hands for too long.
