If I Need A Lockdown
If I Need A Lockdown
The place which hustled with people now lies like a corpse,
Only the sound of wind makes it alive,
The one who used to live outside the home,
Now has a home to stay and value for,
The people who always partied,
Now knows the value of togetherness of family,
We have endured so much in these past months,
And people have finally lived their days and learned how to balance their lives,
But still, to go on they need to get outside,
But who knows what will happen tomorrow?
We all have heard
the phrase,
"No one knows tomorrow, so live your life as it's last."
And often I ask myself the same question
Am I living my life like it's the last?
If I get to live a day longer,
I would live with my family,
If I get to live a day longer,
I would learn another way of life,
If I get to live a day longer,
I would again fall over for my life,
And ask for a day longer.
And for this, if I need a lockdown,
I will fully live it,
To live a bit longer and safer.
