I Wish To Understand

I wish to understand,

All these days that pass me by,

All the times that I have cried,

All the times that I have smiled,

I wish to understand.

Why things happen,

And why things end,

Why someone else die while I live,

Why every life is so unique,

I wish to understand.

Who puts light in our darkest days,

Who has designed such vastness,

Who is the one listening to everything,

Who is the one to whom we pray,

I wish to understand.

But somewhere inside I know I can't,

Such vastness can't be explained,

By such limited tiny creatures,

I hope someday I could see,

The beauty of It inside me.
