I Wish I Could
I Wish I Could
A spell is cast
With a smile that ever lasts.
A tiny hand
And a magic wand.
Sparkling eyes
And relentless why's.
When memories became immortal
And innocence so natural.
A lifetime in childhood
To live again I wish I could.
There was a time when lake, pond and stream
Everything did it seem.
Wrapped in celestial shine
Those freshness of dream was mine.
Looked beyond the impossible
Those days were remarkable.
When the sky was clear
And everyone around was dear.
Maybe a little less options to wear
But definitely nothing much to fear.
Into that heaven of giggles and laughter
Thrive to live again ever and after.
