Peace
Peace
Those pages of war
Marked with an indelible scar
Where swords were raised
And blood was shed
Whence we never invaded
Still seen the worst of battle till dated
Plunder, loot, and rule
Earlier for scintillating jewel
And then for some spice and fuel
What not and what else
We learn from the past as it tells
Those days in history which were painted red
Where nothing but only anger and animosity bred
Greed was the most perilous weapon
Lead many lives into unkown beckon
After years have passed
Condition is still aghast
In the dearth of wealth, power is rising
Where justice is blind, injustice is arising
It's been long for right or wrong
Conflicts stretched will always prolong
It's not about becoming nation so strong
It's about how long you can take humanity along.
