I Will Rest At Peace

The songs I hear

Descending from the sky,

A beautiful voice,

Of the goddess 

Who went on to walk on earth.

This mortal ground,

Was indeed purified by her beauty,

Her eyes instilled kindness in souls

As she waltzed on the barren lands,

I see life emerging from her trail

She looked so gentle, so frail.

Her delicate skin, and crystal clear voice,

Had me mesmerised.

As I wait in the balcony

Searching for her,

I wish she would come

And take me with her,

For I will be able to follow her 

And see the beauty of life anew,

As it grows on the trail 

Of that divine being,

I will be able to hear her songs

And feel the magic of nature

As it dances with her voice,

I will be able to get a new world

A beautiful world,

Without any hint of regret,

Without any emotions of greed,

This world will be peaceful, and,

I will rest at peace…
