I miss her a lot

When the alarm goes off

With her sweet voice in the morning

She used to wake me up.

I miss her a lot

While having lunch at mess

She prepares yummy dishes

With much care and love.

I miss her a lot

When I dress myself up

She would help me find things

That remain non-existent to me.

I miss her a lot

Whenever I feel insomniac

She sang my lullaby songs

As my head nestled in her lap.

I miss her a lot

When I get bed-ridden

She looked after me

Trying to relieve all of my pain.

I miss her a lot

When I recall her sweet memories:

A face full of happiness

And a smile for one and all.

I miss her a lot

When I feel lost among my own

She protected me then, as she does now

Letting me stand tough and strong.

I miss her a lot

As she taught me right and wrong

The advice she gave me

Will last a lifetime long.
