I know a boy
I know a boy
I know a boy who wears the tenderness
of cotton on one sleeve
and toughness of steel on another.
I know a boy with mist on his
left cheek and stardust in
his right eye.
I know a boy who practices
kindness while living in the
hell but dare he preach even a word in this world, for he wears silence on his mysterious lips. And at times, he
don't wear anything at all, leaving his soul
completely visible.
I know a boy who shines
brighter than the sun when he smiles, but
his laughter is like an eruption in
the volcano. However, his touch is like
snow, soft and cold yet pure.
I know a boy who
speaks with animals in a language which
is beyond any translation. Though, he ain't some tarzan. Strays are his best-friends.
I know a boy who carries with himself
the hopes of sunny days in one chamber of his heart and a bone of strength to
survive through all the storms in his ribcage.
I know this boy who might appear to
you as some tragedy of just
another fantasy but believe me this ain't
some poetic strategy,
for he very much breathes in the reality.
