I Felt Lost

I felt lost when didn't find

A friend who understood

Who I am? I felt lost 

In searching for why negativity

Comes in search of a prey and 

Her search ends when I am in

Trouble crying and screaming

Not being there in the photographs

Posted on social media i felt lost

As just being a being ignored

By all in this grief I fall 

I felt lost every time and to find me 

True self was a challenging and

Daunting task, burns were felt

As if hot coffee being spilled

On my soul from the flask

Losing oneself and worth is the

Greatest loss ever, 

I felt lost, I felt lost, but will

Keep trying, to find myself

To find, myself.
