Where’s the pure human gone?

It doesn’t seem to be here.

I have searched long for a pure human

Far and near.

What have the leaders taught,

Ram Mohan, Vidyasagar and Shastri?

Fights, riots and terrorism

Are an often calamity.

People are killed,

Killed thoughtlessly,

Killed cruelly.

For what we are up to this?

It’s such a pity.

Freedom is meant to express your thoughts

Not to slaughter!

What will you gain

By taking away one’s laughter?

So, friends of mine,

Let your minds visualise

Of all trouble you have caused to people,

Do you think, it’s very wise?
