Hope

Rains come pour,

Take away all that is sad in store,

Countless thoughts come and stay, and the water makes that sound as it falls on the floor,

Fantasy I know not, nor any folk lore,

My life experiences and incidents can make me write more and more.

Hope sits there reminding us its been there from ever before,

Looking down as that shawl of calmness it wore,

True it makes our dreams higher soar,

In time of need its not that mentor,

Just that hand telling us this too shall pass as did problems other four.

Sometimes I think are we stupid or just that child on the door,

Waiting for the friends so that they play more,

Though they know their legs are bound with duties and chore.

Yet we hope for that day unknown when happiness, peace and love does pour.
