Lost in the world with all strangers around,

Longing to find, and, longing to be found....

Looking out.. and in.. for that narrow road

leading to a place I may call my own abode...

Longest night it is, it never seems to end..

Lonely and dark too, without a single friend.

Lonely, yet loud inside, with screams of pain.

Lightning and thunder, but not a drop of rain.

Lurking in the darkness, I look for some light,

Leaving no trace, ready to take flight..

Luck on my side, I will soon hear the gong (and)

leave this existence where I do not belong.

Living here forever has been everyone's dream;

Life is precious for those alive, it would seem.

Lifeless as I am, I am perhaps long-dead -

Late night is for parties? I want to go home instead.
