HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!    

 (An elderly lady’s request)

I live alone looking up the sky and thanking nature for its gifts, 

Ever green nature, fresh air, clean water, food and all comforts.

I have worked hard, enjoyed my job and cared the whole family

Our world is always busy but I enjoyed my life well till recently!

All over the world I have travelled and seen a few nice places 

Tried some of my interests, hobbies and fulfilled all my desires 

I have looked after body and mind, kept them strong and fit. 

I do recollect the pleasant memories and the kind people I met!

I have no family or friends, nobody to visit and see me here. 

Last several years my memory is gradually going down hill;

I am very scared to go out for a walk in the street or garden.

Body is weak, I get confused and memory is no good at all!

I am very fragile and spending the days in a residential home,

Loneliness is torturing me; I am looking for mere moral support!

Can a volunteer meet and spend some useful time with me?

A social visit to say ‘hello’ love, we do care’ you’ll be blessed!!
