Homage
Homage
I still remember that fateful day,
When destiny from us took you away
You will always be there with time
Many things will fade away that dwell in heart
But can never depart
At twilight whenever l am sitting alone
And see the sun setting down the horizon ,
Chirping birds returning home.
With broken heart and wet eyes,
I suddenly realise someone is not going to return
Who turned into ashes after burnt.
I wish you could return back
But know this can't happen
So pray you rest in holy heaven
When I sit in the winter sun.
I find a chair missing someone
Then a painful silence I feel.
A teasing wound will never heel.
Rest of life will be spent with this lack.
The empty chair will wait but you will never come back
