are saying :

You all know that we are very attractive, charming, beautiful, & have soft looks

We are full of abundance in Allah's creation 

But we are no longer the symbols 

of that beauty, that charm 

and that abundance.

Hey listen everyone

We, the daughters of Afghanistan, 

are saying :

Gradually we will all die

We will no longer be counted as humans

We will never stop crying

No one cares so much about us

Gradually we will go down in history

Since the Taliban is creating 

terrible terror here.

Hey listen everyone

We, the daughters of Afghanistan, 

are saying :

All the dreams we have 

in our hearts are shattered

The Taliban regime 

in Afghanistan is back now

The Soviet Union and the United States after fulfilling their interests

leaving us frighteningly helpless.

And all the nations of the world 

have also failed to protect us today

We don't get education, 

nor any other benefits

We will not be permitted to stand 

on the balcony of our house

Wearing high heels 

is no longer in our destiny

We don't have jobs anymore

We are forbidden to go out without men

The veil has to be worn 

for the rest of our life.

are saying :

We will be always sexually exploited

We will continue to extinguish 

the fire of the Taliban's desire

We will be stripped naked and quench the desire of our captors - the naked men.

We'll keep it inside

all those tragic stories of persecution?

Hey everyone

We, the daughters of Afghanistan, 

are saying :

Crushing our heart

It's all about lustful men

By enduring their perverted sexual acts,

how long can we float alive 

in the river of blood & violence ?

What about our femininity

in the face of these horrible pains?

Torture, exploitation, rape & molestation 

these words will now echo in the cells,

we will remain confined to

the rest of our life & henceforth...
