He-She

He-She

She was like the burning cigar in New York street,

Calming the snow with her heart's heat.

Like the fuming smoke in the sky,

Or the truth behind the beautiful lie.

He was the sapphire in a million hues,

The perfect line in the imperfect queues .

He was the stream that once dared to touch the stones,

The painful cry in happy moans.

She was the sea wave that engulfed the entire sun within,

Nobody knew a burning heart was found hidden.

She dreamed and dreamed of ruling the sky and gushing water,

She just wanted to be a perfect daughter.

He was different from the rest,

This was the thing he faulted at best.

Nobody understood what was his need,

A paper in hand and rest was left to bleed.

She calmed the world with her voice,

She had learnt to survive in hefty noise.

She was mature she had seen painted faces,

She had seen bliss in hoax graces.

He saw stars hanging to light,

He had seen his heart pretending to fight.

He saw that even trees in woods lose the way,

He had seen moon in a sunlit day.

For moon was common, she saw,

But sapphire was all she did draw.

For smoke that flew even in those crazy depths,

Was a heart she stole in a million thefts.

He was different ,she was unique,

He was the snow ,she the mountain peak.

He was the stone touched by her, the flowing stream,

He was now her only dream.

He lighted up the cigar in that New York street,

Hugged her and she evaporated in the cold heat.

He a little scared, she was strong enough to defend,

Not everytime men are strong sometimes women also end.
