Happy Teachers' Day!

Teachers’ Day was a day so blissful when,

When I was in school with my students then,

They adore you and make you feel so special,

As if you have won an excellent grand gold medal!

Students are so loving and grateful,

They always make you feel so cheerful,

You tend to forget all your insignificant worries,

Listening to all their beautiful stories!

It’s worth being a teacher just to feel this day,

And to listen to your students, what all they want to say,

Through their beautiful cards, flowers, small gifts and sweets,

A teacher’s heart, mind and soul are blissfully complete!

These are the real beautiful perks this profession brings,

It’s way beyond praise, salary hike, bonus and all other things,

Every teacher will understand what I am trying to say here,

It is the best Day for a teacher in the whole school year!

My students have given me so much happiness in my life,

As they have told me all my plus points that I very much like,

Missed all this talk, their cards, fun with colleagues and school staff,

This year was very different as a student in my art class!

Thank you, Sir, for all the art lessons you have taught me so far,

You guide us so well with so much patience, you are our superstar,

Thankful to my parents and all other mentors I have learnt lessons from,

Without all your guidance my life wouldn’t have had this lovely outcome!
