The colors, 

Loving the red and admiring green,

Hating the maroon,

Jawdropping expression,

The playful celebration,

Sometimes hide-and-seek,

Oh, hold on! let me run and hit,

The water gun,

the water-filled balloon,

The dry colors or the heat,

Playing like the old days,

Drinking bhang as no one cares,

The sweets,

Torn jeans & white kurta, the perfect attire,

Drenched in water, trying to conspire,

Music and friends

Heaping of woods,

Dark night & full moon,

Getting together for some fun,

Amusement when it's holika dhahan,

The brotherhood,

Enjoying the good,

Victory over evil,

Being kind to people,

Forgiveness,

The new friendship and acceptance,

Celebrating secularism,
