Grievance Of The Unborn

Grievance Of The Unborn

After a long wait

With all anxiety and patience

With fortitude and sufferance

I set my foot in your world

With numerous expectations

Eagerness and anticipations

You waited for the cuteness

To be unfurled.

For some nine months

I remained in the dark,

I heard your voice

And listened to your whispers

And was overwhelmed to know

That I had become your heart and soul,

That my heartbeats increased yours

And I simply became your world!

I was eager to see the light,

To hug you and to be cuddled tight

And now when the wait is over

And the destination came closer,

I found myself breathless

And before I opened my eyes

My dreams too got lost

I knew not what my fault was

And pushed to eternal darkness!
