Ghost

I'm a ghost looking at the world with my cold oblivious eyes,

Feeling everything around me turn to dust as they are all sweet lies.

As everything familiar around fades away I am left all alone,

Which then forces me to accept the universal truth and move on.

As I drift on to embrace the destiny undecided lying ahead,

I see hopeless mortals praying for their godly love and daily bread.

One day the world will be as oblivious and cold as my ghostly eyes,

Then there won't be any difference between bitter truth and sweet lies ...
