Gameplay of Life

Gameplay of Life

We walked down the path of reality,

Facing the bright side our society,

And came across the two roads diverged

In the wood.

But we could not travel them both

We stood there looking as far as we could

To where it bent in the undergrowth

She took the other one,as it was fair,

Perhaps having the better acumen

Because it was full of light

Not a shadow was there

A path decorated with beautiful flowers and

sherns all over.

Many a man walked there,

Had won them really about the same.

I had to take the one left for me,

Trapping myself in the gameplay of lights and shadows.

Thorns lied everywhere, with a dead silence over there.

Hundreds got injured to cross that road

But very few did.

At that time in my life I wanted to shatter that darkness,

To smash that never-ending night,

To break that deadly shadows

Into a thousand lights of rays and dreams.

I shall be telling this with a sigh.

Somewhere ages ago,

I acknowledged the dark, ugly and sad parts

within me to appreciate the good ones Today.

After all, I realised that

Light cannot exist without darkness

I faced my demons to become a hero

To take the path less travelled by,

And that has made all the difference
