Freedom!
Freedom!
Naive Indians bristled and fumed
Freedom was long gone, they assumed
Our liberty and nation, all oppressed and bought
And inevitable wars were boldly fought.
Behind bars, our golden freedom curbed
The sweet tranquility was disturbed
We longed to be a bird, free to fly high
or to twinkle like stars in the eternal sky.
The legendary heroes didn't die in vain
In our hearts, their sacrifices remain.
Due to the hefty price, they willingly pay
The spirit of freedom resides today.
Our heads held up high with pride
While our nation's flag abide
Our freedom, diversity, and past
May this all forever last.......
