The sun hides beneath

Oh what a breezy air
The earthy perfume of rain
Is truly beyond compare.
When the pitter patter raindrops
Fall soothingly on the ground
It gives such a relief
From the scorching heat around.
We relish each and every drop
Jumping in the puddles and hop
For when it stops, we wait for rain
To eat the delicious fritters again
