FATHER'S DAY

Pagans had an annual festival to worship Sun; ‘Father of Universe’.

Historians realised its significance as the date and reasons found,

USA decided to celebrate this ‘midsummer day’ since last century!

Many nations joined them to honour their ‘fathers and fatherhood’!

 

We started celebrating ‘Father’s Day’ following rest of the world,

Meet father and grandfathers to greet and receive their blessings.

Discuss daily life, family, health, pastime and their present needs

People can’t make it, never fail to call or send them gifts or cards.

 

Plan an outing, a weekend trip or a simple walk in the country side,

Take them to a library or recreation centre to play and have fun!

Go for shopping in town to buy gifts or useful items for your dad!

Take them out to the restaurant for their favourite food and drink.

 

Hugs and kisses are traditional ways to convey love and gratitude!

Cultivate a culture to be in touch with them and show our kindness.

From words and letters, they know your real love, care and interest

They feel safe, secure, happier and thank you all with their hearts!!
