Fallen Regrets
Fallen Regrets
Putting the bouquet, near the tombstone he bowed his head
Oh look! he loves her still now , even years after her death
"I'm sorry" he said softly for the umpteenth time
But there was just a gush of wind to assure him that it was fine
Oh how pitiful she looked when she begged him to stay
Oh how it was such a tragedy to watch when he snatched his hand away
Perhaps it was the guilt which brings him back or the incomplete dream
Perhaps the sins haunt him back or the unheard scream
Perhaps it was just another mere thing to fade away forever
Perhaps it's just human's nature to realize things after it gets over
