Fall and rise
Fall and rise
I was falling,
Falling deeper than I should,
But he caught me in his arms,
In his arms tighter than he should,
And our eyes met,
Our eyes met as if they were meant to meet.
He didn't know me,
Neither did I had any clue of who he was,
He said he was a saviour,
I said then I was the criminal,
But he came closer to me and rubbed my cheek,
I wriggled at his touch,
Then he said, " You are soft, you are piece of cloud"
I looked away and whispered, " You felt like a feather."
And then he flew,
Flew with me snuggled in his arms,
Like a superhero he pierced into my darkness,
And my eyes went blind with the light,
It was like a sunrise up too close,
His eyes blazing with flames,
And as we engulfed into the illumination,
I floated away from his grip towards the horizon,
And blazed into his own fire,
The flames became violent and slowly he turned into ashes,
Left me standing at the junction of all that's dark and all that's not,
And he was gone,
Gone with the murkiest side of me, giving a flight to the better version of my soul.
