Where the sea meets the sky,

Till there my sight lingered,

But I couldn't see her anywhere. 

Just like the wind she flew past me,

And I couldn't grasp her,

She was gone as if for forever.

Her flowers bloomed in our garden,

Their colors reminded me of her soul,

And that the one who planted them, was there no more.

The sunlight was the picture of her smile,

The night, her pupils,

And though I couldn't feel her around me, she was still there somehow somewhere...

I was the notes, she was the music, she used to say,

And the foundation was broken,

But her voice still kept ringing in the depths of my brain.

They say some bonds are meant to be broken,

But ours was torn apart in the storms of our ambitions,

I somehow kept dangling in the edge,

And she fell into the dearth deeper than our love,

Or should I say, she flew into the firmament wider than our hearts could ever be...
