Epiphany
Epiphany
Hymns of love in the rustle of leaves
I find when you are by my side
crashing waves of time when sweep me off feet
engulf me in ignominy
you act as my savior, my love! help me smile
When doubts dominate over faith
my fearsome soul takes lanes and bylanes
never dares to make it to the highways
you fling open arms, held me in deep embrace
You lend me frenzy, some wild imagination even
when I paint my poetic oeuvre with chosen verse
help me pick and choose words and phrases
like a butterfly in the vistas of a blooming garden
I no more seek happiness far and wide
for, you brighten up my days, make nights starry.
