Duende

As I struggle to write

I sigh in despair

Unable to find the right words or story

I feel like it is just beyond my reach

I try hard to grab it

But it seems just impossible

Sometimes I pretend to think

As I am too tired

Of the blankness

Of the inability to form words

However, suddenly an inspiration strikes

And the words began to flow

Like a fresh oasis of water

It is quite surprising

How the simplest things can trigger a beautiful art

It is not constant

The heightened emotion remains

Maybe its God sent

And I am so grateful for Duende
