Dreams - The Real Unseen

Dreams - The Real Unseen

In the quietest part of the night,

When you hover between dark and light,

Wondering if you can float away on dreams,

Hoping they won't turn into screams

Sometimes it works to relax your nerves

That serenity your tiresome system deserves

At other times, so panic kingly berserk

That wakes you up with a horrifying jerk

But dreams are dreams, as they say

The reality is far too away

Though not true, it's quite an irony

That dreams co-exist with us in harmony

Often they lie silent deep within

Unheard unjustified and unseen

Nevertheless they reside and dwell

In our minds and thoughts, they find their shell

They thrive on care and nurture alone

As intense as life, though just a clone!
