My voice!

Lights and shine and shimmer

I see it now, I see it right here

The miseries of the past are left behind

The universe looks upon me gracious and kind

Those aspirations and dreams I cultivated 

Those visuals of the glory I dwelt upon

I feel the stars glittering bright and strong

The sleepless nights weary and long

Have faded away, have gone away

Have made path for this beautiful sunny day

As if everything is mine

Just too much joy to confine

Within myself and to hold back

The freedom I sense has hijacked

All that I suffered, all that I lost

And victory flags wave at every corner

Of my journey making it stronger

I achieve and I conquer

My big losses, my tremendous fears

The time is now, the time is right

I refuse to sit down or shine lesser bright

And as I make the powerful choice

To listen only to my empowering inner voice

I shall win and succeed

Rest all is history, I pay no heed!
