Dreams of Equality
Dreams of Equality
Let her no longer be a theme
Of social equality,
Let him no longer be a shoulder
Loaded with responsibilities!
They do not remember the year
They were born,
For the work they do might resign with a sigh!
Children of their age are discovering life,
While they are still wishing for food and light.
Let them know that the books can free them,
The pages can be their wings,
And that with knowledge their homes can shine.
Tell them, that their wishes also deserve blessings,
But for that, teach them
How to believe in the one, that is within us, invariant.
Let them enjoy the responsibility of self,
And then see their hands, shining with opportunities,
Solving problems of the society.
Let us bring them back to their lives,
Let our equality poems be empty!
