My Universe
My Universe
A place on the earth where the pace of the world slows down,
The craze for the latest series finds no place,
The madness for the sequels of sci-fi movies find no meaning,
The trends in the latest fashion seem useless,
The ideas and views fail to find a perfect match for itself to be equally valued, except in some "not so interesting" novels.
The place on the earth where beats of heart aren't in competition with each other,
Never skipping a single for anything or anyone.
The place where I belong, busy and dissolved in my own ways
That hardly finds any sense in this fast-forwarded furious world.
I'm too old school and outdated in the world of cute college crushes
And get in touch with daily updates,
I know my pace would never match the race you're in,
I'm still confused with how to tie the knot in my shoelace and sitting in
I know my ways don't belong to your world,
My universe expands in the backstage of your sun.
