Downed, Still Not Down
Downed, Still Not Down

Looking straight out of the window
Giggling to the milieu running
along,
She sat glued to the world
outside.
Happiness locked the air
Her world was without care.
Joy unbounded
She sat confounded.
The fleeting glance she stole
Right opposite, where sat
the two wholes
Full in mind body and soul.
Unhappy, irksome and grumbled
Everything was a problem
Joy was an illusion.
They knew more, but hearts
were sore.
They were with reason
Yet couldn't enjoy the season.
While downed with down's
She was a sight to adore.
