Difficult Relationships

Deprived of sister, I regretted my childhood,

Different relationship with SILs

And His intentions I later understood.

Mother was so tolerant and easy flowing

Yet I never counted her blessings she's always bestowing.

Notwithstanding, my MIL is at her admiration best

But MIL is MIL and has MIL's behest. .

'Why do I've a brother like him'?, I asked bright stars

While taking the account of my fighting scars.

He'd different scheme of showing concern

which was not puffery but stern.

BILs are support systems, no doubt

I may lack an endurance to their reckoning wisp

So my heart's blemished with a never ending bout!

Poor father made my wishes come true

And a silly self thought his loving words as mere flattery

Until the cupid shot me and turned my world blue.

Now I yearn for those 'loving' words that mattered me!

Indeed, difficult relationships are baffling and clear.

Two hands we need to hold them on and get us near!
