Different Breed

At a young age life showed her many things,

Life showed her not to trust anything,

Life showed her pain, life showed her gain,

Life also showed her how fast people change, promising to stay but eventually start to fade away, leaving the memories to remain and traumatize my brain.

Instead of letting it drive you insane,

Mediate and clear your brain,

You wake up to what life really is today.

You must heal from your pain,

Learn from all your mistakes, realize there is a lesson in everything, nothing will ever remain the same, people start to fade, memories remain, love everybody but don't trust anything.

Ask for forgiveness, repent and turn away,

Thank God for all you have today,

Keep your head up and don't loose faith,

You got this, you just can't see your own strength.
