Deep Thoughts

I jumped off the deep end to drown all these feelings I know what I'm feeling but I can't explain, dread every weekend the time spent between us I'm praying for freedom I need to see change, the man in the mirror needs to see clearer feels lost an beaten he bleeds just the same, an nothing remains i show no refrain a moth to the flame so bring on the rain, the bolts nearly broken Its barely been holding the sky's dark below us can't see what's to gain, I know what I've lost it came with a cost I might never thaw Lord what a shame, I've tried to be nice I've given my life forgiven more times an now I feel rage, I lost all the light it faded to night afraid of the sight I don't feel the same, I've plotted the course I have tried to ignore I lost sight of shore the poison in waves, the path that I've paved it's seen better days not dead only grazed been digging my grave, I feel less than sane a bullet in brain no gun I refrain an still I remain, not a stain but feel stained down the drain I feel drained take the plummet a fall from the summit no warning, I'm coming I'm used to the pain.
