Dance The Night Away

On the lonely nights 

When I feel alone. 

I sit on my balcony and wonder on my own.

The moon becomes my best mate when I look up in the sky.

It illuminates my heart knowing he's by my side.

The silence envelopes me like an old friend.

And hugs me in its tight embrace.

It's like they understand me without a word been said.

Dark night feels like a day to me cause I can be myself.

Day had made me unconscious and make me act like somebody else.

A true me comes alive when midnight arrives.

That's when I dance the night away with silence and the moon by my side.
