Crossroads
Crossroads
You have been a part of my being
Since the day I was born,
You watched me grow, from a curious infant
To a confident child, playing with danger,
Turning into a shy and confused teenager.
Your voice, once loud
Soon became a dying whisper,
Only to fall completely silent.
I reach out to you, a lost soul,
Standing at the crossroads.
Speak to me, show me a way
What does the future hold,
For a dreamer like me.
I wait in silence, to hear
Your words, become loud and clear.
In your choices, are the seeds of your future,
Push your way out of the soil, while growing roots
And reach out for sunlight, air and water.
Your long forgotten dreams shall bloom anew,
To become believable and true.
I followed my sweet heart
For she is always right,
Pumping blood into my vision
For she helped me revive
My dreams; and so we are alive!
